Knitting workshop at London's Chelsea Physic Garden

Tuesday 9th may 2006, 10.30am - 2.30pm
Cost: £30 per person (includes materials, refreshments and admission to the Garden via the West gate on Royal Hospital Road, SW3)

In this workshop participants will have the opportunity to explore Creative Knitting inspired by the colours/textures of the beautiful Chelsea Physic Garden.

GROUPS

A new group, Lakeside Knitters is meeting on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month from 7.30pm at Starbucks in Borders at the Lakeside shopping centre, Essex.

You can find Glasgow’s latest knitting event, the Big Knit Out every second Wednesday from 7pm at the North Star Café in the North Kelvin district.

Coventry Knit-Wits meets every Wednesday from 7-9pm at the Liquid Café Wine Bar in Coventry, Warwickshire.

LONELY KNITTERS

Alison is looking for crafters in or around Wilton/Salisbury. If you know of any groups, or are interested in meeting up, contact her.

A new pattern is ready to knit: Fruit Pouch by Kate Buchanan (of Gifted Knits)

The UKnitters blogring just last month celebrated their first birthday and now count over 130 members! Membership is open to all Brit knitters (by birth or geography) as well as the occasional spinner and crocheter.
