Knitterati Glitterati
Knitters of the 21st century use alternative materials like wire, soya and plastic shopping bags. We knit using chopsticks, broomsticks and their fingers. We produce sexy knickers, ballgowns and jewellery.
The knitterati meet to knit in cafes, pubs, clubs, the tube, at home, in parks, the cinema… anywhere! And from Thursday, 12 October to Sunday, 15 October 2006 the knitterati will congregating at The Knitting and Stitching Show, aka Ally Pally!
A special Champagne bar and chill out area, Knitterati Glitterati, will be the scene for young and old, novices and experts to share ideas, show off their talents... and their purchases! The goal is to provide a community-based area -- a place to chill out and meet up, rest weary feet and swap shopping stories.
The bar and chill out zone will be stocked with refreshments as well as supplies and original patterns – everything the knitterati needs to complete the perfect afternoon.

This is great!!! I so look forward to hopefully run into a few bloggers I know! This is a great idea! Look forward to being there on Sat!
