Knitterati Glitterati encouraged visitors to the Knitting & Stitching Show to think differently about knitting. The finalists of the Glamour Knitting competition were displayed as well as other examples of funky knitting. We encouraged visitors to sit and chat, knit the free patterns provided, or just take the weight off their feet and compare their shopping prizes!
Thanks to our sponsors for donating prizes and yarn for the event. And a very special thank you to all our volunteers who helped to make everything run smoothly!

I was so excited to get the 2nd prize, and the goodies from Loop are just gorgeous! My only regret is that, because I didn't know I was a finalist, I didn't go to Ally Pally, so I didn't get to see my work displayed.
But thank you SO MUCH for such a fun competition! Any plans to do it again next year?

thanks too. I also didn't know I was a finalist so didn't see it (and was more than a bit confused when I got the package - I was worried the bag was an entry sent by mistake) but it looks like you displayed them absolutely beautifully

I was suprised I got runner up in the Glamorous Knitting competition (and pleased). Nice to see it on the Web.
